Welcome to the Zinnwald Lithium investor hub.

My name is Anton Du Plessis, and I'm the CEO of Zinnwald Lithium.

Today, we're at a critical stage of a multi-decade project that we believe will put Zinnwald, and Germany, on the map as a meaningful lithium producer.

We believe we have a critical role to play in strengthening Europe's lithium supply chain and we want our relationship with our investors to be as transparent and consistent as possible. And we hope this hub will be a useful resource to you and offer the opportunity for you to interact and ask questions.

Mining is an industry where many try but relatively few succeed.

To take a project from exploration, through to mine construction, to final production is a demanding journey that takes financial discipline and multiple specialist technical skills.

To succeed, we need to build a business that will be financially sustainable and profitable, potentially for more than 30 years.

And at the same time, as a European project, we need to uphold European values and standards of life in terms of the project's social and environmental impact.

So why do we believe in this particular project?

The Zinnwald ore body is the second-largest hard-rock lithium deposit in the European Union.

It can support large scale production for many decades.

We're on the doorstep of customers in the European auto industry and in easy reach of several planned battery gigafactories.

This is also an area where mining is part of a tradition going back centuries.

That means no acid leaching, no toxic reagents going in, no toxic waste coming out.

Our goal over time is for almost all the byproducts and waste products to be reusable in other industries.

However responsibly you do it, mining is nevertheless heavy industry.

We are working with local authorities and residents to minimize the impact of the project on the surrounding community and environment.

Fifth, bringing in global leaders as partners. We are drawing on the experience of internationally recognised experts in their fields.

These include Metso of Finland for process design, Snowden [Optiro] on geology, SRK on mine design, and we also draw on our largest shareholder, AMG Critical Materials, itself a meaningful player in the lithium industry.
